Jharkhand ruling alliance delegation meets Governor amid CM disqualification row

Amid the row of Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's disqualification as an MLA, the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress alliance delegation on Thursday met Governor Ramesh Bais. This comes after the Election Commission reportedly recommended the disqualification of the CM to the Governor. Soren is accused of violating electoral law by extending a mining lease to himself.
