Jharkhand women create history with 34 hockey medals in 16 yrs

Hockey Jharkhand clinched the gold at the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026. With this, the state's women's team has won 34 medals in 16 years. The state has infrastructure with two astroturfs at Simdega and academies in Jamshedpur, among others. "This is a matter of great pride for Jharkhand," said Hockey Jharkhand President Bhola Nath Singh.
