Jio adds 8.9 million users in Q1 FY27, profit jumps 9.2%

Reliance Jio reported a strong first quarter of FY27, with ARPU rising 3.3% year-on-year to ₹215.6 and its subscriber base crossing 533 million, including around 285 million 5G users. The company added 8.9 million net subscribers, while churn improved to 1.6%. Jio Platforms posted a net profit of ₹7,764 crore for the quarter ended June 30, up 9.2% from a year earlier.
