Jio becomes world's 6th most valuable telecom company, 2nd in Asia

Jio Platforms became the world's sixth-most valuable listed telecom company and Asia's second-most valuable after China Mobile. The Reliance Industries subsidiary made its stock market debut on Wednesday at a valuation of around $131 billion, or ₹12.5 lakh crore. Jio also surpassed Bharti Airtel, whose market capitalisation stands at about $130 billion, or ₹12.3 lakh crore.
