Jio platforms enters global top 20 in patent rankings

Jio Platforms entered the top 20 applicants worldwide in the latest WIPO PCT rankings, climbing 320 positions to secure the 20th spot globally. As of March 31, 2026, the company had filed 6,817 patents and secured 1,009 patent grants worldwide. Its innovation portfolio spans 5G, 6G, AI and satellite communications technologies.
