Jio Platforms names Akash Ambani as MD ahead of IPO: Report

Jio Platforms has appointed Akash M Ambani as Managing Director for a five-year term starting April 9, ahead of its planned initial public offering (IPO), Mint reported. The move comes as the telecom and digital company prepares to file its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI. Akash Ambani is the eldest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
