JioStar sues Zee over unauthorised b'wood film broadcasts: Report

Reliance and Disney’s TV and online entertainment venture JioStar has launched legal action against Zee Entertainment, alleging it aired bollywood films without proper rights and may seek damages worth ₹25 crore, Reuters reported. JioStar alleged Zee had telecast 12 different films nearly 20 times. This comes after Zee sued JioStar over the unauthorised use of its copyrighted music in April.
