Author JK Rowling recently tweeted a link to the opinion piece 'Opinion: Creating a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate' and wrote, "I'm sure there used to be a word for those people." Pointing out that trans men also menstruate, users accused Rowling of being "transphobic". Reacting to this, Rowling tweeted, "It isn't hate to speak the truth."
