The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Board is planning to give tourism a boost by developing new destinations within the state. The government allocated 14 new places to be developed into tourist destinations. Under the initiative, places like Toosa Maidan and Bungus Valley would be turned into eco-tourism destinations and locals would be trained to host tourists, boosting residents' livelihood.
