J&K's Doda to be branded as role model in lavender farming: Union Minister

Union Minister Jitendra Singh has said that Jammu and Kashmir's Doda will be branded as a role model in India in lavender farming as farmers are taking it up on a commercial scale due to high profits. Singh said this while reviewing lavender cultivation in Doda. Nearly 400 farmers are involved in lavender cultivation in Doda, PTI reported citing officials.
