JNPA dispatches India’s first double-stack long-haul train
India's first double-stack long-haul container train was dispatched from New Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to CONCOR's Multimodal Logistics Park at Varnama, carrying 360 TEUs. The movement follows the commencement of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) operations at JNPA. This marks a significant step towards improving rail freight efficiency, capacity utilisation and connectivity.
