JNU professor offered extra viva marks for sexual favours: Report

A JNU professor, who has been accused of sexual harassment by 11 students, allegedly offered extra marks if they accepted his sexual advances during viva examinations in May, Hindustan Times reported. The university's Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is investigating the complaints. Notably, in April 2025, JNU's Executive Council dismissed a faculty member accused of sexual harassment.
