JNU professor's I-Day speech gets cancelled over protest by VHP, she delivers it online

JNU professor emerita Zoya Hasan's speech as chief guest at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya's Independence Day function was cancelled following protests outside the school allegedly by the members of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP). VHP denied its members were involved in the protest but welcomed the event's cancellation. Hasan delivered the speech online on 'Why Pluralism Matters' a day later.
