JNU removes ’Girls should know..' line from sexual harassment circular

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has removed a controversial sentence from a circular on sexual harassment, following widespread backlash from students. A portion of the circular said that girls are supposed to know "how to draw a tangible line between them and their male friends" to avoid harassments. Students called the circular "regressive" and that the line resorted to "victim blaming".
