US-based job platform for mothers returning to work 'The Mom Project' has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by Grotech Ventures and Initialized Capital. Existing investors including Atlanta Seed Company and Engage Ventures also participated. Allison Robinson founded the startup in 2016 during her maternity leave, realising that "priorities can change after having a child".
