Job seekers pay lakhs to hiring consultants in Pune, stop getting paid after first salary

Hundreds of job seekers in Pune filed 400+ FIRs after allegedly getting cheated by hiring consultants, who they'd paid lakhs of rupees to. Some victims reportedly received their first salary from their "jobs" but stopped getting paid later, with the consultants asking them to "resign" to get a refund of their hiring fees. Two firms' founders have been arrested.
