Joe Root joins Tendulkar, Kohli in 23,000 international runs club

England batter Joe Root on Tuesday became the first England cricketer and only the eighth batter in international cricket history to cross the 23,000-run mark across formats. He achieved the feat during England-Sri Lanka first ODI, in which he scored 44(52). Sachin Tendulkar tops international runs list with 34,357 runs, followed by Virat Kohli with 28,359 runs.
