Ex-England captain Joe Root remained unbeaten on 99 as England chased down 234-run target to beat India by four wickets in the second ODI, levelling the series 1-1. Gus Atkinson hit the winning boundary on the first ball of 45th over, leaving Root one run short of a 21st ODI century. The series decider will take place on Sunday.
