Joe Root smashes his 35th Test hundred, overtakes 4 players on the list of most Test hundreds

Former England captain Joe Root on Wednesday smashed his 35th hundred in Test cricket during England's first innings in the Multan Test against Pakistan. Root is now sixth on the list of players with most Test hundreds. He overtook Younis Khan, Sunil Gavaskar, Brian Lara and Mahela Jayawardene, who have hit 34 hundreds in Test cricket.
