Joey Jordison, founding drummer of band Slipknot, passes away at 46

Joey Jordison, Co-founder and original drummer of the heavy metal band Slipknot, passed away on Monday aged 46, his family said. Although the cause of death wasn't disclosed, the statement says he died "peacefully in his sleep". Jordison joined the band in 1995 and left in 2013. He later revealed that he'd been diagnosed with transverse myelitis, a neurological disease.
