Johnson & Johnson stops selling talcum baby powder in US and Canada

US healthcare conglomerate Johnson & Johnson on Tuesday announced it would stop selling its talcum-based baby powder in the US and Canada, citing a decline in demand. It will continue to sell cornstarch-based baby powder in the markets. The move comes as J&J faces over 16,000 lawsuits from consumers claiming its talc products, including Johnson's Baby Powder, caused their cancer.
