India's women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand defeated 16th-ranked American duo Lauren Lam and Allison Quynh Lee at the Badminton World Championships 2026. The world number 39 Indian pair won 21-15, 21-12 in 39 minutes to advance to the pre-quarterfinals. Meanwhile, India's Kavipriya Selvam and Simran Singhi lost their women's doubles round of 32 match on Tuesday.
