Journalist asks why Tesla didn't match staff contributions to retirement a/c; Musk responds

Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to a journalist who questioned why Tesla didn't make matching contributions for three years to 401(k) plan, a company-sponsored retirement account. "Tesla paid Musk billions & they're unwilling to match employee 401Ks," the journalist tweeted. Musk responded, "Everyone at Tesla receives stock...My compensation is all stock/options, which I don't take off the table."
