Jr NTR's 'Devara' earns ₹82 cr on Day 1 in India, beats 'Stree 2'

Jr NTR-starrer 'Devara' has surpassed the opening day collection of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's 'Stree 2' in India. As per Sacnilk, 'Devara' collected over ₹82 crore on Friday while 'Stree 2' had earned ₹54.35 crore. However, despite earning ₹172 crore globally, 'Devara' couldn't surpass the worldwide Day 1 collection of Prabhas-starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD', which was ₹191.5 crore.
