JSW Steel commenced development of its greenfield integrated steel plant at Paradeep, Odisha, with planned capacity of 13.2 MTPA. The project involves investment of around ₹65,000 crore across nearly 2,950 acres. The company stated that the coastal location offers strong port connectivity, raw material access and logistics infrastructure for domestic and international markets.
