Judge accused of stealing from another judge's house in Punjab

A local court in Punjab has denied anticipatory bail to Civil Judge Bikramdeep Singh, who has been accused of stealing gold and jewellery from the residence of Additional District & Sessions Judge Kanwaljit Singh. The theft took place on the night Singh died at hospital last year. The bail was denied on the grounds that allegations were serious in nature.
