Judge orders Trump to sit for BBC deposition by December 11

A US federal judge ordered Donald Trump to sit for a deposition by December 11 in his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC. Trump had canceled an earlier deposition citing presidential duties. The BBC accused Trump of stalling. Trump alleges the BBC misled viewers by editing his January 6, 2021 speech to suggest he directed supporters to storm the Capitol.
