US judge orders Google to ease ad-tech restrictions

US District Judge Leonie Brinkema ruled Google must ease online ad auction rules and appoint an antitrust compliance monitor, but rejected the DOJ's (Department of Justice) demand to break up its ad tech business. Changes, including preventing Google from tying its ad server to AdX, will remain for six years, shorter than DOJ's requested 15 years.
