Judges appointing judges a myth, others also involved in process: CJI Ramana
Chief Justice of India NV Ramana on Sunday said while it's fashionable to reiterate phrases such as 'judges are themselves appointing judges', it's "one of the widely propagated myths." He added, "The fact is that the judiciary is merely one of the many players involved in the process." CJI Ramana was delivering a lecture on "Indian Judiciary- Challenges of future".
