Judges deciding voters' appeals asked to prove their own identity by EC in Bengal

The Election Commission has asked judges of West Bengal's SIR appellate tribunals to create digital signature certificates using their PAN and government-issued identity cards, according to official records accessed by The Indian Express. This comes more than a month after the judges refused to log in to the Election Commission's portal over an Aadhaar authentication feature.
