Judges handle 800 cases daily, expected to become super robots: Allahabad HC

The Allahabad High Court criticised state authorities for failing to comply with a 2022 court order directing them to pay the petitioner's salary. Highlighting that 400-800 cases are listed before every judge every day, Justice Kshitij Shailendra said that overburdened judges are expected to "become ever-working super robots". Judicial orders aren't "decorative pieces of paper", he added.
