Judges insensitive to not call RG Kar case 'rare': Ex-NCW chief

Former National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma said Kolkata court giving life imprisonment to RG Kar case convict Sanjay Roy is "very unfortunate" as they wanted death penalty. She also noted that judges denying that the case is not "rarest of the rare" shows their insensitivity. "The victim's family and all of us are really sad," she added.
