July 2022 was Spain's hottest month in over 60 yrs: Weather agency
This year's July was the hottest month in Spain in over six decades, the country's meteorological agency AEMET has said. This July recorded an average temperature of 25.6°C, which was 2.7°C higher than the recorded average for previous months of July in Spain. The highest temperature was recorded in southern Morón de la Frontera town at 46°C on July 24.
