July air cleanest since 2017 in Delhi, experts credit rain, lockdown

A new record for the cleanest air quality index (AQI) in Delhi for the month of July was recorded this year after 2017. Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data shows that this July, Delhi saw 25 'satisfactory' air quality days in which AQI remains between 51 to 100. Since 2017, no July has seen more than 16 'satisfactory' AQI days.
