Junior doctors resume strike in West Bengal, demand safety after RG Kar rape-murder case

Junior doctors in West Bengal resumed their indefinite "total cease work" on Tuesday, a day after Supreme Court's hearing of RG Kar doctor's rape-murder case. "We don't see any positive approach from state government to fulfil our demands for safety and security," a doctor said. Last month, doctors had paused the strike after 42 days and rejoined their duties.
