Jupiter doesn't have big rings like Saturn because of its moons: Study

Scientists have recently discovered why Jupiter doesn't have thick and bright rings like its neighbouring planet Saturn. "The Galilean moons of Jupiter, one of which is the largest moon in our solar system...very quickly destroy any large rings that might form," an astrophysicist, Stephen Kane, said. "Massive planets form massive moons, which prevent them from having substantial rings," he added.
