Jury member reveals why 'Dhurandhar' wasn't selected as India's Oscar entry

Jury member Vivek Vaswani revealed why 'Dhurandhar' and its sequel weren't selected as India's Oscar 2027 entry. "These...films didn't represent Indian culture in way the jury sought," he told NDTV, adding that 'Dhurandhar' received only four of 14 jury votes. The jury's final three films were 'Gondhal', 'Angh' and 'Main Vaapas Aaunga'. 'Gondhal' was eventually selected as India's official entry.
