Just 22 astronauts enough to build & maintain a Mars colony: Study

Roughly 22 astronauts, a much smaller number compared to previous estimates of 100 to 500, are sufficient to build and maintain a colony on Mars. The analysis by researchers of George Mason University stated so analysing human behaviour and interaction. They added that the inhospitable nature of the planet also requires any habitat built there to be largely self-sustaining.
