Justice Bela retires, CJI criticises SCBA for not giving her farewell

Justice Bela M Trivedi, who was the eleventh woman to become a judge of the Supreme Court in its history, retired after serving for three-and-a-half years on Friday. Chief Justice of India, BR Gavai, criticised the Supreme Court Bar Association for not organising a farewell for Justice Trivedi. CJI also praised the outgoing judge for her "fairness and hard work".
