Justice Sharma steps aside from Karti Chidambaram case amid recusal row in excise case

Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma of Delhi HC recused from hearing a plea filed by Congress MP Karti Chidambaram in connection with an alleged bribery case involving alcoholic beverage company Diageo Scotland. Chidambaram has moved court seeking quashing of the corruption case registered by CBI. Notably, Justice Sharma had refused Arvind Kejriwal's plea seeking her recusal from excise policy case.
