Justice Swarana recuses from excise case after initiating contempt action against Kejriwal

Delhi High Court's Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma recused from hearing liquor policy case after initiating contempt proceedings against AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and others for allegedly making defamatory allegations. She added that her action shouldn't be construed as allowing Kejriwal's plea for recusal. The judge drawing contempt proceedings can't hear the main case, she said.
