K'taka allots 140 acres to US-based chip maker Applied Materials
The Karnataka Cabinet has approved the allotment of 140 acres at the Bengaluru Signature Business Park near Kempegowda Airport to US-based Applied Materials for ₹780 crore. The allocation to the semiconductor equipment maker is subject to statutory clearances and final pricing. The 407-acre BSBP, first proposed in 2008, is being built under a public-private partnership model.
