K'taka artist creates 1,892 sq ft painting using spices, sets world record

Karnataka-based artist Amar Kale has entered the Guinness World Records for creating a 1,892.5 square feet painting using turmeric and chilli powder. The artwork depicts Karnataka's map with Hampi's iconic Stone Chariot at its centre, using around 6 kg of turmeric and 5 kg of chilli powder. Kale took about 10 hours to complete the painting.
