K'taka BJP holds protest demanding resignation of minister Nagendra over Valmiki scam case

BJP leaders marched from Valmiki statue to Vidhana Soudha, demanding the resignation of Karnataka minister B Nagendra over his involvement in the alleged embezzlement of funds from Karnataka State Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. Nagendra was the tribal welfare minister when the alleged ₹89-crore irregularities came to light in 2024. Nagendra had resigned from the post.
