K'taka Cabinet withdraws case against Hubballi rioters that attacked police in 2022

The Karnataka Cabinet has withdrawn a case against a mob that attacked the police in Hubballi in 2022. According to the police official, around 150 people from a minority community had attacked a police station over an alleged derogatory post on social media. "[Mob was] demanding that...police hand over...accused...so that they can finish him off right there," the official added.
