K'taka Congress shifts MLAs to resort amid cross-voting fears ahead of June 18 MLC polls

Karnataka Congress has shifted its MLAs to a resort near Bengaluru amid fears of cross-voting and political poaching ahead of June 18 Legislative Council elections. The MLAs will remain there until they are transported directly to the Assembly to cast their votes. The election is being held for seven Legislative Council seats. Congress has fielded five candidates in the polls.
