K'taka ex-Minister used scam funds to influence voters in LS polls: ED

Around ₹15 crore of ₹89.63 crore funds siphoned in alleged Valmiki scam involving former Karnataka Minister Nagendra was used during 2024 Lok Sabha election expenditures to influence voters, ED said. Cash was distributed in constituencies like Bellary and Kudligi under Nagendra's direction, ED stated. ED claimed that funds were funnelled through fake accounts, shell companies and accomplices.
