K'taka FDA raids 45 ice cream units, seizes expired products

Karnataka food safety officials inspected 45 ice cream factories statewide and collected 70 samples for laboratory testing. Expired products were seized from Bengaluru units, while hygiene and labelling violations were found in Raichur and Mysuru. Officials seized ice cream worth ₹20,000 in Mysuru and said legal action would follow under applicable food safety rules.
