K'taka police bust diesel smuggling network from Gulf countries

Belagavi police in Karnataka busted a large-scale diesel smuggling network linked to Gulf countries. About 17,000 litres of diesel worth ₹17 lakh were seized from a tanker. The investigation revealed inter-state and international connections, with fuel sold at half the market price. Special teams are being deployed to Mumbai and Rajasthan, and more arrests are expected.
