K'taka Police denies imposing curbs on Ganesh Utsav event after BJP's allegations

BJP leader R Ashoka accused a Mysuru police official of threatening Ganesh festival organisers against processions near mosques, crackers and slogans. He also accused Congress government of not allowing Hindus to celebrate festival peacefully since it came to power. However, Mysuru SP Mallikarjun Baldandi denied the allegations, saying no new restrictions had been imposed on traditional routes.
